   Kyndra Gregg and Jake Leach met in high school and later became engaged back at the exact spot at the school where they were introduced for the first time. After their nostalgic look back at their history together, the two spent a year planning the wedding of their dreams which would be in a much more exotic location than their old stomping grounds.

Sharing a love of the beach, Kyndra and Jake knew that an ocean front wedding would best reflect their personalities. They found their ideal location, the Cabo Surf Hotel in Cabo San Lucas, and focused their whole event around the theme of the beach. To complement the natural setting, Kyndra chose a color scheme of white and earthy sage green. Finding flowers that can withstand the heat in Cabo is quite a challenge, but Kyndra went with pure white roses for a simple, elegant look.

   While planning the wedding, the couple agreed that the photography would be the main budget priority. They sought someone who they felt completely comfortable with and who they trusted to capture the wedding in all the ways that were important to them, which he did. Additionally, Jake and Kyndra have their photographer to thank for one of their favorite, most sentimental moments of the wedding, seeing each other for the first time that day alone before the ceremony. Their photographer had recommended that the couple do this, so that he could capture the significant moment without the anxiety of other people watching over them. It was a spectacular, private moment and a very emotional one for the couple.

The couple recited their vows in front of ninety guests in an evening ceremony right on the sand in front of the hotel. At the conclusion, instead of a traditional recessional, they had an authentic seven-piece Mariachi band surprise everyone and lead the whole group to the cocktail hour with festive music. It was a great way for the couple and their guests to immerse themselves in the party atmosphere, and as the bride herself put it best, "We do love to party, party, party!"
