Surf Lessons

Regular surf season starts in March and ends in November. However, we are blessed with smaller waves for learning all year round. Therefore, our surf school is open every day, all year round. Location is inside the Cabo Surf Hotel.

To offer the best for the location, the Mike Doyle Surf School in Cabo operates with 3 instructors and plenty of equipment to accommodate for a private lesson or a bigger group instruction.

Uncrowded, with long ride waves, the spot is a favorite of surfers from around the globe.

School Hours: From 8am to 6pm daily. (7pm in the summer).

Group Rate: $70.00 usd per person (2 person minimum), lesson time spans from 1.5 to 2 hours depending on the number of people in the group (rate includes taxes).

Private instruction Rate: $95.00 usd per person (1 instructor per 1 student). Duration of lesson is 1 hour (rate includes taxes).

All lessons include: board rental, rashguard use for the lesson, beach and water instruction.

Students must arrive 20 minutes before their scheduled lesson time to watch a 10 minute instructional video in our lobby lounge. The video is available for purchase at a discounted price with the lesson. It is a great tool for students who want to continue practicing.

Need To Bring: swimsuit, camera and sun protection, we also have a surf shop available on premises.

Our rental Surf Shop offers board rentals such as: Doyle soft boards for beginners, plus a large inventory of Surftech boards of all shapes and sizes, boogie boards, umbrellas and our own brand of surf clothing.

“We have a professional surf photographer ready to take your surf daily session for $40usd and record them on a 2 giga usb stick.”
